Analysts’ Stock Ratings suggest that there is no more potential to make money in the Universal Forest Products Inc stock. They have recently downgraded the company’s ratings from a buy to a hold. This is normally a sign that the company has topped out its period of rapid growth. The analysts still feel that the company has a lot of potential as it has had very good revenue growth during the past year and it has a solid financial basing with more than acceptable debt levels. The analysts also reported that the company was able to outperform its sector of the market; but they were not so positive about the decline in earnings per share.
Given all of the information above I decided that it is time for me to sell my stock in universal Forest products Inc. Although I feel the company is on a solid footing I think that all of the short-term profit opportunities for this company have already occurred.
